My Story

I am running the Great North Run with my brother Crispin on Sunday 11th September 2022. I'm running for Pancreatic Cancer UK, and Crispin is running for Macmillan Cancer Support, in honour of our amazing father. Dad was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in February of this year, and although he fought very bravely and with such dignity for 5 months, he sadly lost his battle in July. 

Pancreatic Cancer UK is a fantastic charity that provides accurate information and incredible support to patients, families and carers alike. They also help revolutionise treatments for this tough condition and promote earlier diagnosis, as currently over half of those diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die within 3 months due to it being detected far too late.

This charity has been an incredible support to me personally over the last few months - I honestly don't know where I'd be without them! Please help me give back so that they can continue to support other patients and families, fund treatment and transform the future of those with this condition.

My initial aim was to raise £1000 for Pancreatic Cancer UK, and your incredible generosity has helped me skyrocket way past this target! If anyone would still like to support us on our run, any donations, no matter how big or small, would be hugely, hugely appreciated and make the world of difference in treating this significantly underfunded and underresearched condition. Having your support behind me will keep me running (with my v short legs) to the finish line (and hopefully help me beat my bro too!).
