My Story

Hi,I can't wait to support Money for Madagascar by running the Great North Run on Sunday 11th September. They are an amazing charity helping Malagasy communities through education and environmental projects. Examples of their work:

Ankizy Gasy mentoring programme

Following a bequest, previous beneficiaries of our children’s centres - now adults with careers - returned to mentor their younger counterparts. As many of the children don’t have electricity at home, three laptops were also donated.

The adult mentors shared their knowledge and offered children ways to broaden their opportunities through support with baccalaureates, university applications, and finding work experience and apprenticeships. It’s a testament to the long-term effects of education and the knock-on results it provides.
