My Story

ABF The Soldiers' Charity is the national charity of the British Army and provides support to soldiers, veterans and their families when they need it. Their work ranges from helping wounded soldiers to adapt to life after service to assisting elderly veterans to keep their independence.
We have the largest garrison in Europe in North Yorkshire and I wanted to raise money for a charity supporting those people who have risked or continue to risk their lives to keep our country safe and who have then gone on to face personal challenges. 

Any of you who know me know I am no runner. When training I am remembering those who have given the ultimate sacrifice or people like my dad whose plans had to change when he had a parachuting accident when in the Paras. I have no completion time target. My aim is simply to finish and raise as much money as possible in these difficult financial times. I really appreciate any support people can offer.
