About us
Established 30 years ago to give people with learning disabilities in Gateshead a voice, our charity now provides advocacy and community support to over 2000 vulnerable people across Tyne and Wear.
We work with people with learning disabilities and autism, people experiencing mental health challenges, and those who are vulnerable due to disability, illness, or old age.
We help these people to speak up for what they want and need, to be better connected to their communities, and to have choice and control in their lives.
Our support helps people to be safeguarded from abuse, to attain better care and support, and to build long term resilience through developing their skills, independence, and support networks.
