My Story

Your Voice Counts has been supporting some of the most vulnerable people in the North East for the last 30 years. I'm proud to work for a charity that supports over 1500 people every year - we work with some of the most vulnerable people in society including those with learning disabilities, older people and those experiencing mental ill health. Our amazing staff and volunteers ensure that people's rights are upheld, that they have the support they are entitled to and that they are able to speak up for what they want and need. With our support people are able to address the issues that affect their lives and work towards the outcomes they want to achieve. I'm running the GNR so that I can raise money to ensure we can continue to provide this support and so that we can reach out to other vulnerable people who need our help.
